The final installment of the GE series. Eve is still working her errand, her ten. Her Henry. But not every errand it what it seems. Although Henry devastated her when she found him in bed with another woman all those years ago, she can’t help but still have feelings for the man standing before her. As an Eve, she should know that not everything is as it seems. But Eve never saw this coming. Every question is answered and you’ll never see it coming. This series is wrapped up nicely in the final installment, although it felt like forever for it to happen. I loved the idea of this story, the whole idea was something that was original. As you read each part you aren’t clued into the bigger picture until you are first introduced to the errand that was going to change it all – the same man that started it all.
Nicole Williams delivered a fantastic serial series held your attention from book one until the last. And slowly you get to meet the real Eve as the story develops. Sure you meet her in book one, but you see her with so many different masks that it isn’t until you see her with Henry that you really get a chance to see the real her. The revelations in this were unexpected. I was unsure as to how this could end. If there was a way that Henry could be redeemed.
But Ms. Williams pulled it off flawlessly. I loved watching this series morph into something that you never expected.

**4.5 STARS**
Is it February yet? I don't think I can wait until then for the next novella in this series! If you haven't picked up this series yet, you really need to! There is nothing like it! It is definitely a MUST READ!
First, I want to say that I have never seen an author be able to put so much into such a short book! Nicole Williams is talented! These novellas are jam-packed for their lengths! She doesn't give you any rambling. These books have all been straight and to the point!
I was hooked before this novella. Now I am feigning for the fourth book! I am like a crackhead jonesing for my next fix!
Eve is now on two jobs on two different coasts. We know she left us before with being assigned to the one who drove her to the life she now lives. Now enter the new target. Wife beater. Eve has to juggle both her ex and this wife beater. She is determined to bring both down. The thing is, they may bring her down to her knees first!
I can't tell you any more about this novella without being a spoiler. I can tell you that at the end of this one I was left with my jaw hanging open and cursing that Nicole really left me hanging!
I have so many questions. I really love the whole concept here and I enjoyed the first two parts, but this one brings a whole new level to the story. Eve is awesome and I love the strong front she puts up and that she tries to do good in her own unconventional way. And Henry. Well Henry intrigues me. I just know there has to be more to his story but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. We are told repeatedly that he cheated on Eve ages ago and that is what set her on this path, but everything we’ve come to know about Henry just doesn’t jive with that and I’m dying to peel back the layers here. This is a great serial.
First impression
This series is an auto-buy for me. I love the covers and am completely addicted to the story.
The story
In this installment Eve is still working on Errand Henry, but she is assigned to run a quick Errand in Tampa. It's a domestic violence situation. Eve wants to nail this guy and help his wife get on with her life safely. But, Eve wasn't exactly prepared for things to go bad as quickly as they did. Rob Tucker thinks he owns the town and now...he thinks he owns Eve too.
The characters
I love Eve. She witty, strong and determined. In this serial, I felt like I got to see a glimpse into who she used to be. Henry is waring down her defenses against him. She's softening up to him a bit, which could be dangerous for her job.
Henry...sigh...Henry. I love him. And I think it's pretty clear that his feelings for Eve are very strong. I still don't think he's the dog that Eve thinks he is. And I still believe that there is more to the story about how their relationship ended. I can't wait to find out!
Rob Tucker needs to be destroyed. He's just awful. He scares me. And unfortunately, Eve isn't done with him. I really hope that he gets what's coming to him.
The sexy
There wasn't any sex in this one, but this series has an overall sexy tone. There are moments that are sexual in this one, but not particularly in a good way. The best sexy in this one was the simple sexual tension between Henry and Eve. It's building and I can't wait to see it explode!
Overall
I loved it! I am always anxious for the next installment in this serial series. It's one of the smartest, entertaining and captivating series that I'm invested in. It's no secret that I'm a fan of Williams' writing, but this is one of my absolute favorites. I always recommend this series. If you haven't started it yet...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR????
Quotes
~"Eve, you could bring nothing but that sad smile of yours, and it would blast through the most impenetrable armor I could find every time"-Loc 294
~Men used the term animal attraction as an excuse for wanting to screw a woman they'd just laid their eyes on. It wasn't animal attraction. Animals had more discretion than that. It was nothing more than a case of a degenerate human wanting to add another mark to his tally. In his imagination, he'd already scratched that mark to his bedpost.-Loc 519
~"So the ambulance showed up, rushed me to the hospital, and then we all lived happily ever after?" I scanned the room. If that was anything close to what HEA looked like, pass me the hemlock.-Loc 856
